For instance, Bomber Skeletons in the Forgotten Kingdom and Delver Zombies in Stonewake’s Cross are enemies that can reward you with a Miner Shard.
However, don’t forget the fact that Rune drops aren’t a guarantee. Every enemy has a chance of dropping one, which means a Rune might not appear even if you take out the enemy. When we talk about the Bomber, there’s just a 1 in 15 chance of you obtaining a Miner Shard after taking it out.

What Are The Best Runes in The Forge?

So, the first Rune you should be targeting is the Miner Shard. Each Miner Shard provides one of four possible mining bonuses: increased luck (5-16%), extra ore yield (3-10% chance), faster mining speed (4-12%), or increased mining power (8-15%). The Luck and Yield variants are particularly valuable for progression, so you’ll want to farm multiple Miner Shards to get the effects you need.
The next Rune that should be on your list is the Blast Chip. What’s so special about these is the fact that it creates explosive blasts around enemies you strike, which means you’ll have an easy time clearing hordes.
Another Rune that’s a must target is the Drain Edge, which will restore a portion of physical damage dealt on hit. This means you will be able to survive long boss fights.
