Terraria 1.4.5 update has finally arrived, and one of its many additions is Foxparks. This fiery fox comes straight from Palworld and can be summoned to assist you in combat against enemies. Obtaining it is quite easy, as you need to defeat Goblin Archers and then rescue the Pal. However, if you’re confused, here’s a guide to help you get Foxparks in Terraria.

To get Foxparks in Terraria, you need to hunt down Goblin Scouts, and there’s no fixed number that you have to defeat. This will trigger an event where Foxpark appears surrounded by Goblin Archers. Now, defeat the archers, walk up to Foxparks, and it will convert into an item you can obtain.
There are a few things to keep in mind, though. Foxparks is a much rarer Pal spawn from this event, and in most cases, you’ll encounter Cattiva instead. Foxparks also won’t appear if there’s already a distressed Cattivia or an active Foxparks nearby in the world. Also, it can only spawn in the 1/4 of the world on grass, jungle grass, and snow blocks.
If you’re playing in Survival mode, it will be a good idea to use Water Candles and Battle Potions to increase Goblin Scout spawn rates. You can also build a dedicated farm to improve your chances of triggering the event.
Once you’ve managed to obtain Foxparks, right-clicking it will transform it into a flamethrower, and this attack won’t consume Gel or Mana.

Well, gamers, as we said before, Foxparks is one of the many additions with the Terraria 1.4.5 update, called “Bigger and Boulder”. The update’s biggest highlight is the crossover content. Terraria has partnered up with Dead Cells and Palworld to bring new weapons, items, and, of course, Pals.
Other than the crossover, the update adds 650+ items, skyblock seed, new armor sets, NPCs, and tons of quality of life changes that gamers have been asking to see in the game for years now. If you want a complete breakdown of everything that’s packed in this update, be sure to check out the official patch notes posted by the developer for all the juicy bits.
So far, the community’s response to this update has been overwhelmingly positive. Terraria has crossed 150,000 concurrent players, setting a new record after years on the market. In the Steam reviews section, players are absolutely in love with the game’s new additions.
It’s great to see that developers are still working hard on a game that’s more than a decade old. Let’s just hope we continue to get such massive updates for the open-world game in the future as well.
