Fans Are Convinced New GTA Online Mansions DLC Could Be Testing a Key GTA 6 Feature

It’s disappointing to see that Rockstar Games has delayed GTA 6, but there might be some good news after all. You see, we have the Mansions DLC right around the corner for GTA Online, and it seems like Rockstar is testing a feature for GTA 6.

What’s this about? Well, you might allow you to enter properties without seeing a black screen. Let’s take a look at what’s happening.

Is Rockstar Launching GTA 6 Features in GTA Online?

Let’s make this one thing absolutely clear: Rockstar Games still hasn’t said a word about this yet. However, the community has noticed something interesting. You see, the interiors of the new mansions from the teaser appear to be visible from outside. If you’re someone new to GTA Online, that’s not usual, as interiors only load after you enter properly, and you see a black screen transition when that happens.

Based on this, players on r/GTA6 believe that mansions in the update might be enterable without the usual black screen, and this might be Rockstar testing the feature for GTA 6. If true, this would be quite a big change, as loading screens in the current title remain genuinely one of the most terrible aspects about the game.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Rockstar appearing to test potential GTA 6 features with GTA Online. A few months ago, players on Reddit noticed that their character’s weapon was placed on their back while opening a safe. This is something we saw with the GTA 6 leaks as well.

Even the cars we’ve seen with the last couple of updates in GTA Online are quite different from the usual ones. You can alter their handling, suspension, and make quite a number of interior changes. It’s clear that Rockstar is experimenting with future mechanics. Let’s just hope the days of loading screens when entering properties or playing the game soon become a thing of the past.

Is GTA 6 Getting Delayed Again?

There’s no denying that a lot has happened with GTA 6 in the last couple of months. Not only has the game been delayed again, but Rockstar itself is under fire for union-busting and removing lead developers from the project.

Naturally, this has made everyone concerned throughout the community. It’s already speculated that the game is dealing with a development crunch. This, paired with constant delays, has made everyone in the community worry if there’s a chance that GTA 6 might be pushed to 2027.

However, there’s no need to panic yet. Rockstar is still committed to releasing the sixth entry of the franchise on November 19, 2026. So, if you come across rumors suggesting anything else, take it with a grain of salt. Unless and until Rockstar Games officially announces another delay, the game is all set to hit the shelves on that particular date.

With that said, would you like to see any particular improvement or feature in GTA 6? Let us know in the comments below.
