Hertfordshire, 12th September 2025 – Today, KOEI TECMO Europe and developer Omega Force have announced that their exhilarating tactical action game, DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS, will be available on Nintendo Switch 2 on 22nd January 2026. Fans can already look forward to the release of a large-scale DLC that will extend their experience and their journey through the Three Kingdoms, scheduled for release on 22nd January 2026 on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC via Steam®.
Released on 17th January this year, DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS is a new and deeper interpretation of the traditional Three Kingdoms narrative, in which players take on the role of a nameless hero as they attempt to restore peace on the most realistic battlefields with the largest number of on-screen soldiers in the history of the DYNASTY WARRIORS series. Following the successful release of the game, which has sold over 1 million units worldwide, Omega Force announced that players will be able to experience the thrilling action of the 1 vs. 1,000 battles on Nintendo Switch 2.
DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS is already available on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC via Steam®. The game is scheduled to be released on Nintendo Switch2 on 22nd January 2026. The game features Japanese and English voices with texts in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
